The first thing that struck me as rather odd about these publicity shots taken at the Duke of Essex Polo Party was the overwhelming profusion of super high heeled shoes on grass. Did these people not get the memo that flat gladiator sandals are all the rage and far more appropriate with the also ubiquitous maxi dress?
But what perplexed me more were Danielle Lloyd's French pedicured toenails, which on the one hand were the chicest part of her whole ensemble, and on the other, looked like incredibly painful assault weapons.
Help me decide, the French pedi - hot or not?

I don't like it, but I'm not even a freanch manicure lover... I surely prefer a good classic manicure/pedicure and a good nailpolish. I hate every other decorations, but probably I'm really "old school"!
I don't like the French pedi. I always get the feeling the women with such pedicure have too long toenails because of that white stripe. I prefer classic pedicure and elegant nail polish in some more distinctive color.
Few years ago I really liked and made French pedicure. Now I prefer classic. xx
I honestly love getting them and would say they're still hot....however there is always an exception to the rule and that is if you have stubby toes or a short nail bed it's probably not for you.
i'm a little torn like you, because I've seen certain women wear it nicely, but my final answer is No!
Thank you for the sweet comment, I would love to look a bit like Miss Keira, ANYDAY!
I'm more for the classic nails, I guess French was in a bit more a few years ago - but you know how it always comes back!
xo
Not. Personally, I think they look a bit tacky.
I dont like french manicure, I used to when I was a bit younger but I love plain colours
I do like French pedicure, but if you really want it hot you should get a powerful coloured nail polish for your nail toes, like turquoise, deep red, etc.
I don't like it at all... I also find it a bit tacky...
Gross. I think French Pedicures are incredibly tacky...very Jersey Sorority Girl. (No offense to New Jersey or Sorority Girls, but you know what I'm getting at...)
Snow White you CRACK ME UP.
As a former JSG I hear you and completely agree. Although I thought it was the "classiest" part of the outfit...I didn't much like her outfit so there you have it.
Thumbs and toes down on the French pedi...thanks for helping me decide!
French pedis look totally ghetto and really gross. It's like the chick can't be bothered to cut her toenails. It looks absolutely disgusting, and is a complete turn off. Keep them SHORT.
