One of my fave eBay searches involves bib necklaces but I'm really on the fence about this one. Part of me thinks the soft pastel colors and feminine beads make it the perfect finishing touch to some girly/bohemian/sophisticate outfit, while the other part of me thinks I'm a step away from Mrs. Roper's muu-muus and curly mop wigs.
Please help me decide, this vintage bib necklace: hot or not?

I can't appeal to it, simply because it's too girly for me. But that aside, I think it would be beautiful on the right person. I think you should give it a go!
If you wear it with confidence than it would look fabulous with a simple outfit, all white or black. The key is confidence!

It'll only go "old lady" if you let the clothes go "old lady." Keep it hip and edgy with your outfit.
All you have to do is work it! Be confident, and try not to pair it with a pastel pantsuit and I'm sure you'll be fine. It's really pretty!

I have a very similar necklace. It does have an old lady vibe, so I have to either go with that or try and make it seem younger.

I like it! I'd wear it with a faded old Neil Young tee shirt and denim mini.
I think that it's best left for the moment.. Looks too prim for the current goth/grunge trends
