Cup Cakes & Girl Power
Words can not begin to express the über coolness of the Willie Mae Rock Camp For Girls – I’ve supported this group’s work for a few years and I’m always blown away by the camaraderie and just plain girl power goodness that the camp promotes.
It’s a real life School of Rock that empowers girls to “rock out in a supportive environment that fosters self-confidence, self-esteem, creativity, tolerance, and colloboration.” In order to raise money for this year’s camp, they’re holding an all ages bake sale and music benefit.
Cupcakes and grrrly rock n’ roll? I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Mother’s Day!
