Banana Republic: Today's Daily Double

New markdowns have been taken at Banana Republic today but you, my stylish readers, are far too savvy to jump on that bandwagon just yet.

A while back I told you about this swell shopping site Ebates which allows you to earn rebates on your purchases through their site. I've been a member for over a year and it has paid off in more ways than one. (read: great deals and money deposited directly into my checking account)

Well, the good folks over at Ebates know a thing or two about the art of the deal. Once a week they feature a different retailer as a "Daily Double" meaning, you shop on that day and receive a rebate for twice the usual amount. Today is Banana Republic's turn. Earn an additional 6% off their already marked down prices of 15% off.

Here's what you need to know: in order to get the rebate you must go to Ebates first and register. Once you do click on the link to Banana Republic and you're on your way to your 6% rebate.

To score BR's promotion you should enter code: FALLSALE upon checkout. But hurry, that sale's over on 10/1 and remember the daily double is today only.

Get Money Back When You Shop

I've been a member of Ebates for over a year now and have enjoyed getting money back with each purchase I make through the site.

Here's how it works: login and choose from hundreds of popular retailers including Macys, Shopbop, Sephora, Drugstore.com, Victoria's Secret, etc. and click on which store you'd like to shop. They'll redirect you to the store. You'll shop like you normally do and earn a rebate for each purchase. That's it.

Each retailer offers different cash back rates. One of my faves is Beauty.com which offers 6% off. This may not sound like a lot but when you consider that beauty products go on sale, like NEVER, it really comes in handy.
