New York Magazine recently called 15 year old Taylor Momsen's style transformation from girly to Goth "shocking".
I'm not entirely convinced.
I can't count on both hands the number of transformations I had before I reached sweet 16. What do you think? Is Taylor's edgier look inappropriate for a girl her age or are you loving Little J's Joan Jett-style makeover?

If that look on the right is "Goth," then punk surely is dead.

I like the grunge rock look, its very edgy.
lol "Goth"? It's hard for any publication to use that word in modern parlance and not sound totally out of touch, but this is worse than normal. So embarrassing.

I prefer the first look
i feel as if the first one, is more of who she really is. she pulls both off well though.
hmm, i'm with the girls, goth? I'm thinking she's just doing a leather look. but i encourage her to get any kind of goth phase over and done with at an early age. And have fun with it.
I don't find her 'transformation' shocking at all. She's a teenager so of course she's gonna try every look out there until she'' find her own style. I was a teenage rock chic before I discovered dresses so I know how she feels!
