Street Beat: Hello Oslo!

PhotobucketPhotobucket

There’s something exciting in the air, and it’s not just the change in season…we’re pleased to announce that New York Street Beat is going global! Don’t get us wrong, we still heart NYC but have felt so inspired by our stylish readers that we couldn’t help but share. If you’d like to be considered, send a photo rocking your personal best, or a link to your style blog, and you may be featured in an upcoming edition.

Welcome to a new chapter in fashion history – written by savvy members like you!

Our first stop in the style universe takes us to Oslo, Norway where Silje, seen here in a stunning cool weather ensemble, mixes high and low with ease. We love how she layers a fur vest (Vero Moda) over a blazer (Gina Tricot) with a floral scarf, and chunky knit cap (both H&M). Her leggings, knee high boots, (Zara) and vintage Chanel bag keep the silhouette sleek and sophisticated. The overall effect is feminine, a bit bohemian, and utterly chic – just like Silje.

Ebay Find Of The Day: Belted Hippie Cardi

There are two very well known facts: cardigans are probably on every single blogger's wish list for Fall, and Mama Stone Vintage is one of eBay's most popular vintage sellers -- and with good reason.

Both will take you through the colder months in style.

To wit, this lovely wrap style cardigan straight outta the seventies, yet easily updated when thrown over leggings and a cute pair of booties. Find the auction here.
