I stumbled upon these Adidas by Stella McCartney bleggings (bootie leggings?) on Zappos after reading the always adorable Cupcakes and Cashmere blog who posted about a fab pair of Stella's ballet flats.
I must say I'm kind of intrigued; they look so comfy...and I'm loving the scrunch factor...but I'm also a tad confused...is this something reserved solely for dancers or will I look like some demented fashion victim who forgot to take her meds if I actually wore these on the street?
Help me decide, are they hot or not?

id wear em! they remind me of crochet uggs just not as sturdy.
ReplyDeletefirst of all, so happy i stumbled across this post...thank you for your sweet comment! secondly, i absolutely adore these and think they'd be the perfect thing for running errands once the weather turns colder. i must investigate to find out the price though...
ReplyDeletei think it's cute in a corky way. i am looking into a pair of ugg that is quite similar for this winter and i am not an ugg type of gal normally!
ReplyDeleteOh man, hate to knock Stella, but I think those are a not. They look like something you will love with all your heart for a month and then never wear again.
ReplyDeleteouuf !
ReplyDeletefor me it's a definate no !
like...no no no !
but i'm shure lots of people can pull them off.

Hot, as in your feet will sweat...yes. Otherwise this will be one of those "what was I thinking!?!" items five years hence.
ReplyDeleteA no-no, sorry, but no my style
ReplyDeleteI don't really like it..but I guess if you like it, you'll be able to pull it off :)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure-they certainly look comfy, but not sure if they will catch on!!
ReplyDeleteMay be they are really cool and super stylish but I don't like them, sorry (((
ReplyDeleteI don't like them for me at all, but I bet some people could make them look great. Maybe you're one of them?
ReplyDeleteNot! Ten bucks says that by the time September rolls around, Forever 21 will be selling a plastic and acrylic version of these. They look like the slipper socks from Land's End my mom put in my Christmas stocking when I was 9.
ReplyDeletesigh...going to have to give a big NOT on this one, if only because i have no idea how to wear these. over leggings? under jeans? so confusing.
ReplyDeletei do, however, like the idea of being able to wear socks without shoes out in public....
Hmm, not so sure. I'd wear them to a Pilates class though.
ReplyDeletecan't resist, yes! although they are very close to being a big mess. but I'm a sucker for tall socks and buckles.
ReplyDeleteoh, wait, just noticed they are flats on the bottom, wish they were hunter boots-like on the bottom instead.
ReplyDeletethey look comfy.. but I have to say not!
